When Do I Need a Skin Booster? Understanding the Benefits and Types
If you're looking to rejuvenate your skin and achieve a more youthful appearance, you may have heard about skin boosters. But when do you actually need one, why might it be beneficial for you, and what types are available? Let's break it down!
When Do You Need a Skin Booster?
Skin boosters are ideal for individuals who want to improve skin texture, hydration, and elasticity. You may consider a skin booster if you notice:
Why Do You Need a Skin Booster?
Skin boosters work at a deeper level than standard topical treatments. They penetrate the skin to provide intense hydration and stimulate collagen production, leading to smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin. Unlike fillers, skin boosters deliver subtle enhancement without altering facial contours, making them suitable for individuals seeking a natural look.
Types of Skin Boosters:
1. Hyaluronic Acid Boosters:
Ejal 40/ seventy Hyal: This skin booster is rich in hyaluronic acid, which hydrates and plumps the skin. It's perfect for improving skin elasticity and firmness.
2. Sunekos:
In addition to hyaluronic acid, Sunekos contains amino acids that promote collagen and elastin production. It's ideal for enhancing skin tone and texture.
3.Profhilo:
This is a unique injectable that combines two types of hyaluronic acid, providing deep hydration while stimulating the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin. Profhilo is excellent for treating sagging skin on the face, neck, and décolleté. Also provides volume.
4. Polynucleotides:
This type of skin booster uses a natural substance found in DNA. Polynucleotides ork by promoting cellular regeneration, improving skin firmness, and boosting overall skin quality. They're particularly beneficial for skin that has experienced significant aging or stress.
How Can Skin Boosters Improve My Skin?
Conclusion
If you're ready to invest in your skin and enhance its overall appearance, consider whether a skin booster is right for you. Consulting with a qualified aesthetic professional can ensure you choose the right type of skin booster tailored to your specific needs. Whether it's the hydration of hyaluronic acid, the rejuvenation of Profhilo, or the regenerative power of polynucleotides, these treatments can help you achieve a glowing complexion that reflects your inner beauty!

Welcome to our blog! Today, we’re diving into a common topic that many of my clients ask about: the Botox ‘top-up.’ But first things first—let's clarify what we mean when we talk about top-ups and why they’re not really what you might think!
What is a Botox Top-Up?
Many clients believe that after their initial Botox treatment, they may need a top-up to achieve their desired results. However, it's important to understand that what we actually offer is a 2-week review following your treatment, not a top-up. This review serves as an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of the initial treatment and determine if any adjustments are necessary.
During the 2-week review, I evaluate the results, looking for any signs of asymmetry or stubborn wrinkles. If you have any stray lines that didn't quite settle, I’m happy to add a couple of extra units at no additional charge to correct any imbalances—especially if you're dealing with the dreaded "spock brow" effect!
Here's where you can imagine a picture of a spock brow and another showing a well-placed eyebrow.
Why Are Top-Ups Not Allowed After 2.5 Weeks?
A crucial aspect of Botox treatments is the timing. By the 14-day mark, Botox is at its strongest. After this point, its effectiveness begins to decline, which is why I cannot provide any additional Botox past the 2.5-week timeline due to prescription regulations. This timing is vital for both your safety and the efficacy of the treatment.
This review period also allows us to discuss and plan your future treatments based on your individual needs. For instance, if we notice that your muscles are particularly strong, we may determine together that a higher dose of Botox is necessary for your next appointment. In some cases, switching to a different brand of toxin might be beneficial.
Customized Levels of Treatment
At Savasana Aesthetics, we offer Gold, Silver, and Bronze treatment levels. It’s possible that after our review, you might find that what worked previously (such as the Bronze level) may not suffice in the future. You could very well need to upgrade to a Silver level to achieve optimal results.
Understanding Your Needs
It’s important to remember that if you feel uncertain about your results in the 2-week period and express a desire for more units that aren’t clinically indicated, a £25 charge will apply. This charge is for additional units requested beyond what is deemed necessary for aesthetic purposes.
Your satisfaction and safety are paramount, and ensuring that you receive the best personalized care is my mission. If you're due for your 2-week review, let's make sure you're on track for those beautifully balanced brows!
Remember, it’s all about achieving those gorgeous results without compromising your health and well-being!
Thank you for reading, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to schedule your next appointment!
